Activities in Zion National Park
Situated in one of Utah’s most breathtaking areas, Zion National Park is on a must-see list for national park aficionados. Its soaring sandstone walls, incredible rock formations and many miles of hiking trails constantly reveal new perspectives of this red rock wonderland. The Narrows, Angels Landing, and Emerald Pools are just a few of the 200 miles of picturesque trails in Zion National Park. Other exciting activities at Zion include climbing and horseback riding.
Park Programs
During the summer, park rangers offer complimentary short talks at the museum as well as evening programs in the campground amphitheater and Zion Lodge. Hiking
Zion offers many trails, ranging from short leg stretchers to strenuous adventures. For an easy, scenic jaunt, try Pa’rus Trail, a paved, carefree alternative for bicyclists, pedestrians, and people with strollers and wheelchairs to visit the lower Zion Canyon.
Horseback Riding

Cycling
Zion is a popular cycling destination. Bike rentals are available through various rental companies throughout the Springdale area.
